WillowTree of Posey County is happy to present:
Walking for WillowTree
an extension of Walking for Dreams.
Due to the community risks of Covid-19, this year we are expanding our annual fundraising walk in a new, socially distanced way. With the pandemic going on we want to reach out to our donors and supporters to update everyone on ways that we can continue to promote and advance our mission while always being sure that we center our focus on the health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers, donors, and clients. We recognize that this year has been a hard one to many and that so many of our supporters are tired from the ever-present need to maintain vigilant social distancing while being cooped up in the house. So we wanted to provide an opportunity to help add some fun to everyone’s summer. We’re excited to get everyone out of the house and Walking for WillowTree.
We all need a break. So we here at WillowTree are sharing some of our walks as inspiration. Join us by taking a walk on one of your favorite paths. Take some photos or a brief video. Share them on Facebook or YouTube with a brief explanation of why you enjoyed your walk. Tag them #walkingforwillowtree, and when you’re done, let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will reshare as many as we can!
With your financial support, you work through us to meet the needs of those in our community who need help and support. It is you who enable our work supporting our friends and neighbors surviving domestic violence in Posey County possible. Please stop by and donate before heading out to your favorite walking path.
In that spirit, let’s all kick off Walking for WillowTree with a video of one of our favorite walks.
Walks along the Wabash:
It is always so quiet and peaceful…. great place to walk and take in some of the wonders of nature… soaring eagles and flying catfish.
