At least 1 in 4 women and as many as 1 in 6 men will be a victim of domestic violence in their lifetime.
Domestic violence can happen to anyone, anywhere; including Posey County. It can only end if all of us speak out. Abusers depend on the silence of their victims and their community. It is time we start to hold abusers accountable for their behavior and stop blaming victims. By speaking out we can take away the fear, shame and judgment that stand in the way of victims seeking help. Please join us in our effort to end domestic violence.
